Cable Modem Routers will NOT work on our network

If you have a SurfBoard or Cable Modem/WiFi combo router, it will not work on our network. 

Our network is Ethernet based. So your router will need an Ethernet uplink port.

Cable Modem/WiFi combo routers such as:

A SurfBoard or Netgear AC1750 Dual-Band WiFi Cable Modem Router or any other Cable Modem combo router will just not work. If you look at the back of your router and it has a screw on cable port vs an Ethernet port it will not work. Here are two examples:
