Following this Power Cycling procedure will fix most of these problems.
- Unplug the power to the Antenna.
- To do this trace the black ethernet cable that comes out of your computer or router that is ultimately connected to the antenna. You will find a 2-inch box that plugs into your AC power. In the picture below it is labeled as "power adapter feeds power to the radio on the roof."
- Turn off your PC and unplug the power adapter for your router. (if you use one)
- Wait 60 seconds.
- It's important that you wait a full minute before proceeding
- Plug the power adapter back into your AC outlet or surge strip and make sure you see a green light on the power adapter.
- Wait 60 seconds.

Router Considerations:
You cannot use any type of cable modem router combo routers or DSL/modem router combo WiFi routers, they are NOT compatible with our network. You need a standard Ethernet router that is 802.11ac at a minimum. Also make sure you are not using an N150/N300 or N600 Router as they quite old and the standards aren't keeping up with current technology. One final note, make sure that you never name your 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz SSID or wireless names the same thing. You will want to name them separately such as Apt504-2g, Apt504-5g, and then you will always want to connect to the 5g signal for the best performance.
