Note: If you experience poor signal quality, it is recommended to install a Ring Chime Pro, as suggested by the manufacturer.

  1. Unpack the Device: Remove the Ring Doorbell and all its components from the packaging.
  2. Charge or Insert Batteries: Either plug in the Ring Doorbell to charge or insert the required batteries.
  3. Download the App: Install the Ring Doorbell App on your setup device.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Make sure your setup device and the Ring Doorbell are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  5. Follow Setup Instructions: Perform the initial setup in your living room, ideally close to your Wi-Fi access point.
  6. Relocate the Doorbell: After connecting, move the Ring Doorbell to your desired installation location.
  7. Test Functionality: Ensure the device is working correctly by testing its features.
